Community Food Warehouse:  A regional organization that collects and purchases food to stock a multitude of food pantries throughout the Shenango Valley.

Family Christian Stores:  This national chain of Christian bookstores has locations in Boardman, Ohio, and Cranberry, Pennsylvania.  Before you go, ask your pastor or church secretary if you belong to the Ministry Perks program - 5% of your purchases could be rebated to your congregation!

Federal Surplus Warehouse:  Some congregations and related not-for-profit organizations may qualify to shop at this wonderland of excess federal and state materials in Hermitage.

Fire Chaplains:  We now have six pastors or former clergy in Mercer County who are trained and appointed to minister to our fire and EMS professionals and volunteers.  Learn here what it's all about.

Grand Book and Bible:  Probably the closest religious book and supply store to the valley, located on Route 18 in New Castle.

Police Chaplains:  A number of area departments have established or are thinking of "calling" local pastors to serve as volunteer police chaplains.  Here's the 4-1-1 on this ministry.

Prince of Peace Center:  Our neighbors in need can get food, clothes, house wares, and much more from this Christian center in Farrell.

Scouting Religious Awards:  The folks at P.R.A.Y. can help you find the religious awards that Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers, Brownies, Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls (formerly Camp Fire Girls)and their parents/guardians can earn.  And this is also the place to get info about nominating adults Scouting leaders who are members of your church for a religious award, too.

Sharon Regional Health System:  Christian Associates is responsible for providing a Protestant chaplain, the Rev. Geraldine Williams, to the hospital.  If you'd like to see her, please ask your nurse.  Don't forget to send a Cheer Card to loved ones while they're inpatients.

Tax Exempt Form:  If you're buying services or something on behalf of your church, you'll need an up-to-date Pennsylvania form (it's Rev-1220 on the list) properly filled out and signed by the appropriate church officer.  If you're shopping on behalf of your church in Ohio, you'll also need an up-to-date Ohio form.

UPMC Horizon:  This hospital in Farrell doesn't have a chaplain on staff, but you can send an e-card to a loved one while they're a patient there.

West Hill Ministries is an interdenominational venture of cooperating churches.  Its goal is to minister to the needs of folks in and around the West Hill of Sharon, and includes after-school programs for kids, housing help, food, clothes, and more.
